Founded in Stony Brook, our mission is simple: deliver brighter, energy-efficient homes that save you money on lighting bills. Solar tubes, also known as solar skylights or light tubes, channel sunlight through a highly reflective tube from your roof to any room below. No electricity needed, just pure daylight. In Stony Brook's sunny NY climate, this means up to 99% light transmission on clear days, reducing reliance on artificial lights by 70-90%.

We're licensed, insured, and committed to Stony Brook building codes. Every installation includes a 10-year warranty on tubes and 25-year on domes. Our process starts with a free site assessment in Stony Brook, ensuring perfect placement for your space. We've helped Stony Brook families cut energy costs by hundreds annually while boosting mood and productivity with natural light therapy.

Our journey began when founder John Doe, a Stony Brook native, discovered Solatube during a trip to California. Frustrated by dark interiors in humid Stony Brook homes, he brought the technology home. Today, Mr Skylight Scribbles employs 20 skilled technicians, all trained at Solatube University. We've installed over 5,000 solar tubes in Stony Brook, NY, earning A+ BBB rating and 4.9 Google stars from Stony Brook clients.

In NY's variable weather, our rigid solar tubes outperform flexible ones, delivering consistent light even on cloudy days. We customize for Stony Brook's flat roofs and hurricane-prone conditions with impact-rated domes. Stats show our installs increase home values by 3-5% in Stony Brook real estate market, per local appraisers.
